Paige Elliot Killed in Uvalde County Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 117 

Uvalde County, Texas (February 18, 2022) – One person was killed, and another was injured Monday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Uvalde County, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash occurred around 6:06 a.m., February 14, on Farm to Market Road 117, about 7.2 miles south of Uvalde.

DPS said a 2013 Toyota Corolla was traveling northbound on the highway while a 2017 Ford F-250 pickup was traveling southbound.

The Corolla drove into the southbound lane and collided with the Ford.

The Toyota driver, Paige Javan Elliot, 27, of Irving, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Ford driver was taken to Uvalde Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The crash closed the highway for about two hours, and motorists were urged to avoid the area.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
