Ailene White ID’d as Woman Killed in Henderson Crash on FM 782

Henderson, Texas (June 6, 2022) – The woman who died in a motorcycle accident that happened Friday evening near Henderson has been identified as Ailene White, 47.

The crash, involving two motorcycles, occurred at about 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 3, on FM 782, about 10 miles northeast of Henderson, according to a report by the Texas Department of Public Safety.

As per the DPS report, a 2015 Harley Davidson and a second motorcycle were traveling southwest on FM 728 in a staggered formation. A deer reportedly ran across the road from the right and hit the Harley Davidson driven by Marvin L. White, 51, of Longview.

Ailene, who was riding as a passenger on Marvin’s motorcycle, was thrown off the bike. The driver of the second motorcycle, Robert White, 29, also of Longview, attempted to swerve to the right but instead struck Ailene.

Ailene was transported to a hospital in Dallas, where she succumbed to her injuries the next day.

Marvin was transported to Christus Trinity Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler, where he remains in stable condition. Robert was treated at the hospital and released.

Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.

The accident remains under investigation.
