38-Year-Old Man Critically Injured in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on Westmore Road

San Antonio, Texas – A 38-year-old man was critically injured Friday evening in a hit-and-run accident in San Antonio’s Northeast Side, according to the police.

The crash happened just before 8:00 p.m., December 29, in the 9500 block of Westmore Road.

Police said a gray Chevy truck was traveling northbound when the driver drove into the southbound lanes and crashed into a Kia Forte.

The Kia spun out of control. The 38-year-old driver was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The Chevy driver fled the scene and was later located and arrested for Intoxication Assault and Failure to stop and render aid.

The police are investigating the crash.
