Anthony Provost Killed and One Injured in Frisco Two-Vehicle Crash at Dallas Parkway and Warren Parkway

Frisco, Texas (April 14, 2021) – One person was killed, and another was injured early Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Frisco, according to police.

The fatal crash happened around 4:55 a.m., April 13, at the intersection of Dallas Parkway and Warren Parkway.

Police said officers responded to an apartment complex in the 4100 block of Frisco Green Avenue to what was reported as a possible home-invasion robbery. When they arrived, they saw the suspect, Anthony Provost, 36, of Plano, leaving in a silver 2019 Chevrolet Corvette, heading southbound on Gaylord.

The officers attempted to stop Provost, but he fled, heading eastbound on Cowboys Way before turning southbound on Dallas Parkway. He ran a red light at a high rate of speed at the Warren Parkway intersection and crashed into a white pickup truck.

Provost was pronounced dead at the scene.

The pickup truck driver was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
