At Least One Person Hospitalized after Amarillo Crash at SE 11th Avenue and S Pierce Street
Amarillo, Texas (June 23, 2022) – At least one person was hospitalized following a collision involving an Amarillo ISD vehicle at an intersection Thursday in Amarillo, according to a local news source.
The crash took place at the intersection of SE 11th Avenue and S. Pierce Street.
Reportedly, the AISD truck and another vehicle collided at the intersection.
At least one patient was transported to a hospital in unknown condition. It was not immediately clear which vehicle the victim was traveling in.
A section of Pierce Street between 10th and 11th was blocked while the investigation or cleanup took place.
Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
