At Least One Injured in Rollover Crash at U.S. Highway 87 and 98th Street in Lubbock

At Least One Injured in Lubbock Two-Vehicle Crash at U.S. Highway 87 and 98th Street

Lubbock, Texas (March 14, 2020) – At least one person was injured in a two-vehicle crash Saturday morning in far south-central Lubbock, according to a local news source.

The crash was reported around 9:00 a.m. in the area of U.S. Highway 87 and 98th Street.

According to the report, two vehicles collided, causing one of them to roll off the U.S. Highway 87 overpass and onto 98th Street below.

At least one person in the vehicle that rolled over was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

The crash closed northbound traffic on U.S. Highway 87 and westbound traffic on 98th Street.

The crash remains under investigation.
