Atira O’Guinn Arrested in Fatal Austin Hit-and-Run Crash on Menchaca Road

Austin, Texas (November 8, 2023) – According to the police, Atira O’Guinn, 20, has been arrested in connection to the hit-and-run crash that left a pedestrian dead last month in Austin.

The deadly accident happened around 10:22 p.m., October 27, in the 9300 block of Menchaca Road.

Police said O’Guinn was driving when she struck a pedestrian and fled the scene.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released.

O’Guinn was arrested on Saturday, October 28, and has been charged with a second-degree felony accident involving death.
