Bakari Mosley Killed in Motorcycle Accident at Volcanic Avenue and Magnetic Street in El Paso

Bakari Mosley ID’d as Motorcyclist Killed in El Paso Motorcycle Crash at Volcanic Avenue and Magnetic Street

El Paso, Texas (March 16, 2023) – Police have identified the man who died in a motorcycle accident Wednesday night in El Paso, according to the El Paso Police Department.

The deadly crash happened at about 9:50 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, at the intersection of Volcanic Avenue and Magnetic Street.

El Paso police said Mosley was riding a 2015 Yamaha YZF motorcycle when he rear-ended a southbound 2016 Kia Sorento that was attempting to turn left at the intersection of Magnetic Street and Volcanic Avenue.

Mosley, who was wearing a helmet, was thrown from his motorcycle. He was transported to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The driver of the Kia, 46-year-old Yvette Harris, was accused of failing to yield the right of way to Mosley.

The crash remains under investigation.
