Bicyclist Killed in Crash on Aldine Westfield Road in Houston

One Killed in Houston Bicycle Accident on Aldine Westfield Road

Houston, Texas (March 4, 2023) – According to the police, one person was killed on Thursday in a bicycle accident in Houston.

The deadly accident happened around 7:35 p.m., February 23, in the 10200 block of Aldine Westfield Road.

Police said a gray Ford F-150 pickup truck pulling an HMDE trailer was traveling southbound while a male was riding a bicycle on the sidewalk heading southbound. The bicyclist lost control of the bicycle, fell into the roadway between the pickup truck and the trailer, and was struck.

The bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The Ford driver remained at the scene, was determined not to be impaired, and was questioned and released.

The police are investigating the crash.
