One Killed in NW Austin Bicycle Accident on Highway 183

Austin, Texas (August 27, 2020) – According to officials, a person was killed in a bicycle accident Wednesday night in Northwest Austin.

The deadly accident happened around 10:25 p.m., August 26, on Highway 183 northbound service road near Lake Creek Parkway.

Officials said the crash involved a bicycle and a vehicle.

The bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released.

No further details were immediately available.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
