1 Killed in Harris County Bicycle Accident on North Freeway
Houston, Texas (June 7, 2019) – A bicyclist was killed in a hit-and-run accident early Thursday morning in Harris County, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash crash happened shortly before 5:30 a.m. Thursday, June 6, on the North Freeway, south of the Airtex Drive.
According to the authorities, the rider was exiting the North Freeway when he was hit by a vehicle.
The rider succumbed to his injuries at the scene. His identity was not immediately released.
The driver involved fled the scene after the crash.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
