Dane Benjamin Hone ID’d as Man Killed in Cedar Park Motorcycle Crash on U.S. 183A

Cedar Park, Texas (January 6, 2020) – The man who was killed in a motorcycle accident Saturday evening in Cedar Park has been identified as 45-year-old Dane Benjamin Hone, according to the authorities.

The fatal crash happened around 6:30 p.m. on January 4, on the U.S. 183A toll road.

Police said a pickup truck crashed into the median, sending pieces of debris into the roadway. Moments later, Hone hit the debris with his motorcycle and crashed.

Hone was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries where he died early Sunday morning.

The crash remains under investigation.
