Daniel Navia Killed in Wrong-Way Crash on Allen Parkway in Houston

Daniel Navia ID’d ad Motorcyclist Killed in Houston Crash on Allen Parkway

Houston, Texas (October 31, 2022) – Daniel Navia, 26, has been identified as the motorcyclist who died after he was struck by a wrong-way driver early Saturday morning in Houston.

The crash occurred at about 2:00 a.m. on October 15 in the 1900 block of Allen Parkway.

Authorities said Navia was riding his motorcycle on Allen Parkway when he collided head-on with a Dodge Ram pickup truck, driven by Matthew Drew Granados, 29.

Navia died in the crash.

Granados did not stop to render aid to Navia and fled the scene. He was later arrested and booked into jail for failure to stop and render aid. His bail was set at $50,000.

Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.

The accident remains under investigation.
