Destiny Thompson, Alyssa Green Killed in Stephenville Car Accident on U.S. Highway 281

Destiny Thompson and Alyssa Green ID’d as Two Teens Killed in Stephenville Crash on U.S. Highway 281 near Morgan Mill

Stephenville, Texas (August 25, 2019) – Authorities have identified two teens who were killed Thursday in a traffic accident in Stephenville as Destiny Ann Thompson, 18, and Alyssa Gayle Green, 18.

The fatal crash happened on U.S. Highway 281 near Morgan Mill Thursday, August 22.

Police said a 2015 Nissan Altima occupied by Thompson and Green, was traveling on U.S. Highway 281, heading toward Morgan Mill when for an unknown reason, the Nissan collided with a 2007 Peterbilt truck-tractor, which was towing a trailer.

Thompson and Green were pronounced deceased at the scene.

Robert C. Tyrrell, 59, who was the driver of the Peterbilt, was taken to Texas Health Hospital with unknown injuries.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the cause of the crash.
