Orange Man Eduardo Cardozo Killed in Orange County Car Crash on Interstate 10

Orange County, Texas (May 11, 2019) – An Orange man was killed in a crash involving an 18-wheeler on Thursday afternoon in Orange County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The crash occurred on Interstate 10 near FM 1442 at about 3:30 p.m. Thursday, May 9.
According to the investigators, 22-year-old Eduardo Cardozo of Orange, was operating a Chevrolet Camaro eastbound on I-10 when he slammed into the back of an 18-wheeler after the vehicle hydroplaned.
Cardozo, who was the only occupant of the Camaro at the time, was pronounced deceased at the site of the collision.
No other injuries were reported.
The investigators are working to determine the cause of the wreck.
