Eduardo Escamilla Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident at Blanco Road and Lee Hall Street

San Antonio, Texas (August 10, 2020) – The man who was fatally hit by a vehicle Friday night in San Antonio has been identified as 61-year-old Eduardo Escamilla, according to the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The deadly accident occurred around 9:30 p.m., August 7, in the 3100 block of Blanco Road at Lee Hall Street.

Officials said Escamilla was leaving a store and was attempting to cross Blanco Road when he was struck by a northbound compact car.

Escamilla was declared dead at the scene.

The driver said he didn’t see Escamilla.

Intoxication was not a factor in the crash.

The police are investigating the crash.
