20-Year-Old Fort Bliss Soldier Injured in El Paso Pedestrian Accident on Lee Trevino

El Paso, Texas (June 13, 2022) – A 20-year-old female Fort Bliss soldier was seriously injured early Sunday morning in a hit-and-run accident in El Paso, according to a local news source.

The accident happened around 12:35 a.m., on June 12, on Lee Trevino.

According to the report, the soldier was crossing the street from the westbound curb to the eastbound curb when she was struck by a southbound pickup truck.

The victim sustained serious injuries in the crash.

The pickup truck driver fled the scene after the accident.

No other information was available.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
