Four Killed in Head-On Crash on Highway 75 in Walker County

4 Killed in Walker County Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 75 near Park Road 40

Walker County, Texas (October 24, 2019) – Four people were killed Wednesday evening in a head-on crash in Walker County, according to the authorities.

The fatal crash happened just before 5:00 p.m. on October 23, on Highway 75, south of Park Road 40.

Troopers said a black four-door Ford was heading southbound on Highway 75 while a white four-door Fusion was heading northbound.

The Ford driver attempted to pass in a no-passing zone and was at the bottom of a hill. When it got to the top of the hill, it collided head-on with the Fusion.

Three people in the Ford, including the driver, and the Fusion driver, were killed in the crash.

A fourth person in the Ford was airlifted to Memorial Hermann in Houston in an unknown condition.

The crash remains under investigation.
