Francisco Cruz Killed in Bryson 18-Wheeler Crash on U.S. Highway 380

Bryson, Texas (June 4, 2022) – A man was killed early Thursday evening in a head-on collision in Bryson, according to the authorities.

The fatal crash happened around 5:00 p.m., on June 2, on U.S. Highway 380.

Authorities said Francisco Cruz, 28, of Graham, was driving a 2012 Hyundai passenger car westbound on the highway while a 2017 Freightliner 18-wheeler was traveling eastbound.

For unknown reasons, Cruz crossed the center stripe and crashed head-on into the 18-wheeler.

Cruz was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver and passenger in the 18-wheeler were uninjured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
