Greyson Hurst Seriously Injured in Tyler County Two-Vehicle Crash on US 190
Tyler County, Texas – Two people were injured earlier this month in a two-vehicle crash in Tyler County, about 3 miles west of Dam B, according to a local news source.
The crash happened shortly after 4:00 p.m., January 4, on Highway 190 near FM 92.
According to the report, 55-year-old Rick Klinoff, of Jasper, was driving a 2022 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck westbound when a 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan pulled over and then made a U-turn. The pickup truck then collided with the driver’s side of the van.
Both vehicles came to rest off of the highway.
Firefighters had to use the jaws-of-life to rescue the driver from the van.
Klinoff was uninjured in the crash.
The van driver, 21-year-old Greyson Hurst, of Woodville, was airlifted to St Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont with serious injuries. A passenger in the van was taken to Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
