Victoria Jones Injured in Fatal Harris County Two-Vehicle Crash on Ella Boulevard
Harris County, Texas (June 7, 2021) – According to the deputies, one person was killed, and two others were injured Sunday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in north Harris County.
The fatal crash happened around 2:30 p.m., June 6, in the 16000 block of Ella Boulevard.
Deputies said Amanda Lockett and her 15-year-old daughter, Jaelee Roberts, were traveling northbound in a white Kia Optima. Lockett swerved to avoid a pickup truck that was coming out of a nearby subdivision, and she lost control and crashed head-on into a tan Chevrolet Equinox.
Lockett was pronounced dead at the scene.
Roberts, who was the front-seat passenger, was airlifted to Memorial Hermann Hospital-Texas Medical Center with hip injuries.
The Equinox driver, Victoria Jones, 60, was taken to HCA-Houston Healthcare Northwest with back and abdomen injuries.
