Inmate and Woman Injured in Bexar County Three-Vehicle Crash at Loop 1604 and Highway 90

Bexar County, Texas – Two people were injured Wednesday morning in a three-vehicle crash, involving a Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office van, in Bexar County, according to officials.

The crash happened just before 10:30 a.m., January 3, in the area of Loop 1604 and Highway 90.

Officials said the sheriff’s van might have run a red light before hitting two other cars.

An inmate in the van sustained a minor head injury and was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

A woman in one of the other cars was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

No other information was available.

The crash remains under investigation.
