Isidro Hinojosa-Minjarez Killed in Ector County Two-Vehicle Crash on US 385

Ector County, Texas (December 13, 2022) – One person was killed, and another was injured Friday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Ector County, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened on December 9, on US 385, just south of Odessa.

DPS said a car was crossing the northbound lanes of the highway when it was struck by a northbound vehicle.

The driver of the car that was hit, 78-year-old Isidro Hinojosa-Minjarez, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the other car was taken to Medical Center Hospital in stable condition.

Both drivers were not wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
