Case Clark Killed in Hockley County Motorcycle Crash on US Highway 62/82

Hockley County, Texas (March 12, 2021) – One person was killed, and another was injured Thursday night in a motorcycle crash in Hockley County, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened just before 9:00 p.m., March 11, on US Highway 62/82 near Quail Road.

DPS said Paul Pinkston, 76, was driving a pickup truck southwest in the northeast lanes of the highway when he collided with a motorcycle that was traveling northeast.

The motorcyclist, Case Clark, 22, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Pinkston was taken to University Medical Center with serious injuries.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
