Jared Lee Foster Killed, Cody Allen Loving Injured in Scurry County Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 1606 

Scurry County, Texas (January 29, 2020) – One person was killed, and another was seriously injured Monday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Scurry County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The crash was reported around 5:45 a.m. January 27, on FM 1606.

DPS said Cody Allen Loving, 45, of Snyder, was driving a truck eastbound on the highway while Jared Lee Foster, 39, was driving another truck northbound.

Loving ran a stop sign and crashed into the side of Foster’s truck.

Foster was pronounced dead at the scene.

Loving was taken to University Medical Center with serious injuries.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
