Odessa, Texas (May 6, 2021) – According to a local news source, a man was killed Tuesday afternoon in a rollover crash in Odessa.

The fatal crash happened on May 4, on FM 1936.

According to the report, Jarone R. Jackson, 41, of Odessa, was driving a Nissan Altima when he attempted to pass a Ford Edge but ended up crashing into it.

The impact caused the Altima to leave the roadway and rollover.

Jackson, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was taken to Medical Center Hospital, where he later died.

The Ford driver was uninjured in the crash.

An investigation is underway.
