Jessica Ramos Killed in Vehicle Crash on FM 50 in Burleson County

Jessica Ramos Killed in Burleson County Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 50 at FM 60

Burleson County, Texas (August 30, 2023) – A woman was killed Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Burleson County, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened on August 29, on FM 60 at FM 50.

DPS said a 2018 Freightliner 18-wheeler was traveling southbound on FM 50 when it failed to yield the right of way and struck a 2016 Honda, which was traveling eastbound on FM 60.

The Honda driver, Jessica Ramos, 24, of Bryan, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 18-wheeler driver, Justin Davis, 35, of California, was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The crash closed FM 50 completely near FM 60 for several hours.

The crash remains under investigation.
