Jesus Ybarra ID’d as Man Killed in Corpus Christi Pedestrian Accident at Rodd Field and Yorktown Road

Corpus Christi, Texas (January 19, 2020) – The man who was killed Wednesday night in a pedestrian accident in Corpus Christi has been identified as Jesus Ybarra, 57, according to the police.

The fatal crash occurred at about 7:00 p.m. January 15, at the intersection of Rodd Field and Yorktown Road.

Police said a Good Samaritan noticed a body lying on the roadway, and they called the authorities.

Responding officers found Ybarra dead on the side of the roadway.

The involved driver fled the scene after the accident.
