John Sims Critically Injured in Tyler Pedestrian Accident at Front Street and Bonner Avenue

Tyler, Texas (March 30, 2023) – A KTBB Radio news anchor was injured Tuesday morning after being struck by a vehicle in Tyler, according to a local news source.

The accident happened around 8:30 a.m., March 28, in the area of Front Street at Bonner Avenue.

According to the report, John Sims was taken to the intensive care unit at UT Health East Texas after being struck by a vehicle. He sustained a severe brain injury.

No other information was available.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
