Joshua David Martinez and Shiron Dismukes Injured in Wise County Two-Vehicle Crash on Private Road 1514 near Bridgeport

Wise County, Texas (April 13, 2020) – Two people were injured Wednesday afternoon in a semi-truck crash in Wise County near Bridgeport, a local news source reported.

The crash happened around noon, April 8, on Private Road 1514.

DPS said Joshua David Martinez, 36, of Frisco, was driving a 2007 Freightliner northbound on PR 1514 when he entered into a curve at an unsafe speed, and the vehicle rolled onto its side. The Freightliner slid, and it collided with a southbound 2004 Kenworth, driven by Shiron Dismukes, 32, of Little Elm.

Martinez was airlifted to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth with non-life threatening injuries. 

Dismukes was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
