One Killed and Two Injured in NW Austin Three-Vehicle Crash on RM 2222 at Loop 360

Austin, Texas (December 29, 2021) – One person was killed, and two others were injured Wednesday morning in a three-vehicle crash in northwest Austin, according to the authorities.

The deadly crash occurred around 7:45 a.m., in the 5800 block of RM 2222 at Loop 360.

Authorities said three vehicles were involved in the collision.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s identity has not been released.

Another person was trapped in the wreckage and had to be freed. The victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. A third victim was taken to Seton Medical Center with minor injuries.

No other details were available.

The crash remains under investigation.
