Juan Trevino Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash at Avenue Q and 27th Street in Lubbock

Juan Trevino Killed, 2 Seriously Injured in Lubbock Crash at Avenue Q and 27th Street

Lubbock, Texas (July 2, 2019) – One person was killed and two other people were seriously injured Saturday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash at a Lubbock intersection, according to a local news source.

The crash happened just before 4:30 p.m. June 29, in the area of Avenue Q and 27th Street.

As per the report, a 2000 GMC pickup truck was traveling northbound on Avenue Q when it collided with a 1983 Chevy driven by Juan Trevino, 69, which was heading eastbound on 27th Street.

Trevino succumbed to his injuries on Sunday, June 30.

The GMC driver and one passenger were taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
