39-Year-Old Kadi Lynn Touchon Killed in Lubbock Pedestrian Accident on US 84 near 1585

Lubbock, Texas (March 23, 2020) – The woman who was killed in a pedestrian accident Sunday morning in Lubbock near Slaton has been identified as Kadi Lynn Touchon, 39, of Lubbock, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The deadly accident happened just before 6:40 a.m. March 22, on U.S. 84 near the intersection with FM 1585.

The Texas Department of Public Safety said Touchon was walking in the westbound lanes of U.S. 84 when she was hit by a 2016 Honda Civic driven by Nathaniel Jordan Sanchez, 22, of Slaton.

Touchon was declared dead at the scene.

Sanchez was uninjured in the crash.

The conditions at the time of the accident were cloudy and dry.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
