Kevin Lane Ferreiro Killed, Patricia Lane Ferreiro and Allyse A. Bowman Injured in Parker County Multi-Vehicle Crash on IH-20

Parker County, Texas (December 22, 2019) – The man who was critically injured in a suspected DUI crash Tuesday night in Parker County near Mineral Wells has died, according to the DPS.

The crash occurred around 10:30 p.m. December 17, on IH-20 near Ranch House Road.

According to a preliminary investigation, Juan Antonio Sauceda, 26, was driving a 2019 Ford F350 pickup westbound on the highway when traffic slowed down due to construction.

Sauceda failed to control his speed and hit a 2018 Infinity driven by Patricia Lane Ferreiro, 61. The impact pushed the Infinity into the rear of a 2016 Nissan, causing the Nissan to hit a 2010 Chevrolet Suburban.

Patricia and his passenger Kevin Lane Ferreiro, 23, were taken to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth with critical injuries where Kevin died around 2:00 p.m. on December 20.

The Nissan driver, Allyse A. Bowman, 27, was also taken to a local hospital for observation.

Sauceda was arrested for two counts of intoxication assault and was transported to the Parker County Jail in lieu of a $15,000 bond.

The crash remains under investigation.
