Konnor Taylor Injured in Fatal Truck Accident on State Highway 103 in Angelina

Konnor Taylor Hospitalized after Angelina County Crash on State Highway 103 and Crain Road

Angelina County, Texas (February 7, 2023) – Konnor Malkolm Taylor, 19, was injured after being involved in a deadly crash earlier this month in Angelina County.

The incident happened at around 8:45 p.m. on January 4 on State Highway 103 and Crain Road.

Authorities said Terry Lynn Vaught Jr., 37, of Longview, was driving an 18-wheeler and was turning eastbound on State Highway 103 from Crain Road when he failed to yield right-of-way to an oncoming 2009 Chevy Colorado, driven by Taylor.

The Chevy reportedly crashed into the trailer.

Dakody Tyshawn Aahmad Hall, 15, who was a passenger in the Chevy, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Taylor was transported to a nearby hospital

Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
