Logan Dark Killed in Katy Bicycle Crash on Mason Road and Cinco Park

Katy, Texas (September 30, 2023) – A 14-year-old boy was killed on Thursday in a bicycle accident in Katy, according to the deputies.

The fatal crash happened just after 6:45 a.m., September 28, in the 6000 block of Mason Road and Cinco Park, near Betty Sue Creech Elementary School.

Deputies said Logan Dark was riding his bicycle on his way to Cinco Ranch High School, where he was a student, when he was struck by a vehicle in the crosswalk.

Dark was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle, 20-year-old Devin Delvalle, was arrested and charged with motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian or other vulnerable road user within the crosswalk area.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
