Luis Serrano Killed in San Angelo Two-Vehicle Crash on US 67 near Duckworth Road

San Angelo, Texas (March 19, 2022) – One person was killed Friday morning in a two-vehicle crash in San Angelo, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 1:30 a.m., on March 18, on US 67 near Duckworth Road.

DPS said a 2015 Ford fusion was traveling northbound on the highway when it left the roadway, drove into oncoming traffic, and collided with a southbound 2012 Freightliner tractor-trailer.

The Ford driver, 26 year–old Luis Hernandez Serrano, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

No additional information was provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
