Man Hospitalized After San Antonio Pedestrian Accident at North Zarzamora and West Martin Streets

San Antonio, Texas (October 2, 2020) – A man was hit by a car early Wednesday morning in San Antonio’s West Side, according to a local news source.

The accident happened around 12:30 a.m., September 30, at the intersection of Zarzamora and West Martin streets.

Police said the man was standing in the street when he was struck by a Lexus ES300 that was traveling northbound on Zarzamora and had a green light.

The man was taken to University Hospital in critical but stable condition.

Officers said the Lexus driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

An investigation is ongoing.
