Man Seriously Injured in Harris County Car Accident on Highway 6 at Pine Forest
Harris County, Texas (March 13, 2019) – A man seriously injured Tuesday morning in a traffic accident in west Harris County, police said.
The wreck took place at about 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 12 on Highway 6 at Pine Forest.
According to the police, a Ford F-150 pickup was heading northbound on Highway 6 and was stopped at a red light at Pine Forest when it was rear-ended by a black Chevy Cavalier driven by the man.
Firefighters responded to the scene and extricated the man who was trapped inside his vehicle. He was then airlifted to the hospital.
The pickup driver was unhurt.
Neither drugs nor alcohol was a suspected factor in the crash. An investigation into the crash is underway.
