Man Hit, Killed by Car on U.S. 67 near Big Lake

Man Killed in Big Lake Pedestrian Accident on U.S. 67

Big Lake, Texas (July 16, 2022) – A man was fatally hit by a car Thursday night ten miles east of Big Lake, according to the Texas DPS.

The deadly accident happened around 5:00 p.m., on July 14, on US 67.

DPS said the man was in the outside lane when he was struck by a vehicle that was pulling a wagon down the highway.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

No further details regarding the crash were available.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
