Police Officer Injured in Arlington Motorcycle Crash on Interstate 30

Arlington, Texas (July 11, 2019) – A police officer was injured in a motorcycle accident on Wednesday morning in Arlington, according to the authorities.

The incident happened along Interstate 30 westbound on Wednesday, July 10.

Authorities said an Arlington Police Department officer was standing besides a motorcycle conducting a traffic stop when an SUV drifted into the side and struck the motorcycle.

The police officer was taken to a hospital and was expected to be okay.

The driver of the SUV sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

She was also charged for driving under the influence.
