Man Injured in Newark Train-Car Crash on FM 718 near Brown Street

Newark, Texas (November 24, 2023) – A man was injured Tuesday morning after a car collided with a train in Newark, according to the authorities.

The crash happened around 9:30 a.m., November 21, on Farm Road 718, near Brown Street.

Authorities said a car struck the side of a train. The train crew was uninjured in the crash.

A man was taken to a Metroplex hospital with possible serious injuries.

No other information was available.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
