Motorcyclist Hospitalized after Port Arthur Crash on SW 45th Street

Port Arthur, Texas (June 10, 2019) – A man was injured in a motorcycle crash on Sunday afternoon in Port Arthur, according to police.

The collision, which took place in the 5000 block of South Gulfway Drive, occurred at around 2 p.m. June 9.

Police said a motorcycle rider going south on the freeway hit on his brakes after a southbound car turned off the road.

The motorcyclist was critically hurt and was flown to Christus-St. Elizabeth Hospital.

The cause of the crash is being investigated by the police.
