Harris County, Texas – A man was killed Saturday night in a three-vehicle crash in northeast Harris County, according to the deputies.

The Nissan driver changed lanes when it was unsafe and hit the Chevrolet. The driver then went over to the first lane and hit the Dodge on its right side.

The Nissan lost control and ended up in the grassy area where it struck a tree and caught fire.

The Nissan driver was killed in the crash. His name has not been released.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.

The other drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

The crash remains under investigation.

Common Causes of Automobile Accidents

There are many different reasons why automobile, pedestrian, 18-wheeler, bicycle, and motorcycle accidents occur, including driver negligence, driver inattention, texting and driving, speeding, fatigue, failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign, or private drive, running a red light, and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. While the factors listed above are the main causes of most accidents, there may also be other factors involved, which is why it’s important that an investigation be conducted before evidence disappears, especially in cases involving a fatality.  At Joel A.
