Man Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on East Freeway

Houston, Texas (October 11, 2023) – A man was killed Saturday night in a pedestrian accident in Houston, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 11:45 p.m., October 7, in the 10100 block of East Freeway (East Interstate 10).

Police said the man was walking on the main lanes of the freeway when he was struck by a Dodge Durango, which was merging onto the freeway.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The Durango driver remained at the scene and was determined not to be impaired and was questioned and released.

The police are investigating the crash.
