Motorcyclist Killed in DWI Crash on IH 820 in Hurst; Driver Arrested

One Killed in Hurst Motorcycle Crash on Interstate Highway 820; Driver Arrested

Hurst, Texas (June 21, 2022) – A motorcyclist was killed Monday afternoon in a crash involving an intoxicated driver in Hurst, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 12:39 p.m., June 20, in the 700 block of Interstate Highway 820.

Police said a truck and a motorcycle collided in the northbound lane of the highway.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

Multiple people were injured in the crash.

The truck driver was arrested for intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault.

Further details regarding the crash were not available.

The police are investigating the crash.
