Danny Hoffman Killed in The Colony Motorcycle Accident on State Highway 121

The Colony, Texas (April 29, 2023) – A motorcyclist was killed on April 19 in a crash involving a police car in The Colony, according to the authorities.

The fatal crash happened around 2:30 a.m., in the northbound lane of the 6000 block of SH 121 access road.

Authorities said an officer in a stationary marked Patrol Unit was assisting a stranded motorist and had emergency and directional lights activated.

Danny Hoffman was riding a motorcycle when he crashed into the back of the patrol unit.

Hoffman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation. Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to call The Colony Police Department at 972-625-1887.
