Man Riding Lawn Mower Killed in Oak Cliff Pedestrian Accident near West Jefferson Boulevard and Winnetka Avenue

Oak Cliff, Texas (July 20, 2021) – A man who was riding his lawnmower was hit and killed by a car on Monday in Oak Cliff, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened on July 19, near the intersection of West Jefferson Boulevard and Winnetka Avenue.

Police said a black pickup truck and a blue sedan collided near the intersection.

The force of the impact caused the blue vehicle to veer off the roadway and hit the man who was riding the lawnmower and was trimming the grass. The vehicle flipped over after hitting the man.

The man was killed in the crash. His name has not been released.

The driver of the blue vehicle was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The police are investigating the crash.
