Man Seriously Injured in Rollover Crash at 27th Street and Slide Road in Lubbock

Driver Seriously Injured in Lubbock Car Crash at 27th Street and Slide Road
Lubbock, Texas (February 11, 2019) – A man was seriously injured early Monday morning in a rollover crash at a Lubbock intersection, according to the police.
The crash was reported at about 2:15 a.m. in the area of 27th Street and Slide Road.
Police said a 24-year-old man was driving a Dodge Stratus northbound in the 2700 block of Slide Road when he lost control and hit a boulder on the east side of the road. The Dodge then continued traveling across the sidewalk and hit two parked cars in a parking lot in the 2801 block of Slide Road.
Two other parked vehicles were damaged by the crash debris.
The Dodge rolled over and came to a rest in the 5100 block of 27th Street.
The man was taken University Medical Center with serious injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
