Man Killed in Kaufman County Pedestrian Accident on CR 4116

Kaufman County, Texas (January 6, 2022) – A man was fatally struck by a vehicle Wednesday evening in Kaufman County, according to the Texas DPS.

The deadly accident happened around 6:16 p.m., January 5, in the 9200 block of CR 4116, in between Crandall and Kaufman.

DPS said the man was crossing at an intersection when he was struck by a westbound GMC.

The man was taken to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Kaufman, where he was pronounced dead. His name has not been released.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
